Over Under - Viewing Report 2009-03-15 - St. Patty's Day Fishing Report The Over Under Luck of the Irish Fishing Report ISLAMORADA FISHING REPORT Wow it has been a pretty wild week down here in sunny Florida. Monday my friends went out for a couple hours again pulling a couple small grouper and snappers deep dropping and again with gin clear water decided to go picnicking at Man Jack Cay.
The reef edge has been very productive with nice 3 to 5lb yellowtails, great time on 12lb test. We should start to see some African Pompano any day now and I can t wait they are super fun on light tackle and they range from 15 to 40lbs.

Anyhow we have worked real hard all week. Next week s outlook is favorable, the water was almost back up to 72 today and the winds are supposed to start lying down by Monday or Tuesday so we will keep our fingers crossed till then take care.
Water temps in the back are still cool, with just several more weeks till Tarpon season it should star to warm quickly. Snook season opens today so we are looking forward to plenty of action this whole week.
Sea conditions werent improving so we decided to go inside to the flat calm waters in the sea of Abaco. The highlight of the day was boating a nice mutton sin the 11 lb range.
Over Under - Viewing Report 2009-02-25 - Catch dinner before our Buisness meeting. The dolphin were not aggressively feeding today as they just kept nosing the bait so freespooling was the key as Thomas did a great job getting them to eat.
The guy s had great success with some nice black groupers and several mutton snappers. We did however find a few real nice Black fin tunas that came in at 20lb s real nice table fare!!
The Live Liner allows you to effectively keep your reel in free-spool , with just enough drag to hold your bait in place. The Live Liner drag can be adjusted to control the drag tension, allowing anglers to fish various sized baits and maintain control over the bait, an essential factor when live-lining for various gamefish such as Striped Bass, Sailfish, Roosterfish, or Snook.
This week was tough, we spent two days in the Veterans Sailfish Tournament and things were pretty slow. The king fish have still been bighting pretty good, just the bait has been real hard this week, we just started to catch able the cigar minnows today and the ballyhoo have moved further up reef edge.
