Both Bluefin and Yellowfin are being caught when the weather allows off of Hatteras, and we felt Hatteras offered our customers the best shot at consistent quality Big Game Fishing for the next 6 months. Last week, we made the call, based on the lack of a consistent bite in MHC and promissing reports from Capt. Darrin above in Hatteras.

Over Under - Viewing Report 2010-12-18 - Key West - Sailfish Update If you ve ever wanted to catch an Atlantic sailfish, now is the time in Key West. Over Under - Viewing Report 2010-12-15 - Hatteras Bluefin Tuna Heats Up The Bluefin Bite was very good earlier this week. LOW PROFILE will start fishing full time out of Hatteras this weekend, and be targeting both Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna all winter.
Some of the best action has been right out in front of Key West, but the further west you get, the more species work their way into the mix including some nice dolphin (yes, in December), blackfin tuna, yellow jacks and false albacore. Our deeper water wrecks are holding good numbers of blackfin tuna and false albacore live pilchards are the key, and bait has been pretty easy here lately.
